Hahhahaha, now that I have your attention, LOL

Just an interesting observance. I always see my different species of frogs shed and eat their skin.

Anyway I just the other day watched lakoda shed a big hunk of skin, the entire back piece, and it was laying on the water dish.
Squashy the adult male went right over and ate the whole piece. ~And NOT from the lack of food,

Like I say this was a very good size hunk, and he ate every bit.
Now frogs do it for the nutrients, so I suppose collareds do it for the same reason.

~ Just trying to get under your skin, hahhahahahaahha,~

actually, thought it was quite interesting !

You are soooo silly! You know another big "skin-chomper" is the Leopard Gecko. They actually pull their skin off an eat too as they shed. Good source of calcium and kind of interesting to watch

It's kind of like rice paper..dissolves right in your mouth!

ehwhhhh. I've seen my lizards eat it too, but most of them try to get it out of their mouth.
