Scales?

srsnakes Jan 15, 2004 11:43 AM

I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good scale to buy. I want it to weigh ball pythons and small boas.

Thanks,

Steve

I picked this one up a number of years ago from Bush Herpetological who I think got bought out by someone. Anyways, the TARE feature allows you to subtract out the weight of the rubbermaid or whatever your placing on it to hold the animal which is real cool...I think most digital scales offer this feature these days. The main page on this site has a nice big list of dealers to choose from. The site I listed below is a safe bet and a good place to start. Good luck.

I use a ounce scale, then just multiply the ounces by 28.35, and that gives me my gram weight.
Hope this helps!
