Do any of you out there have Rankins?

fisherk2 Jun 05, 2003 07:30 PM

I am considering trading some geckos for a Rankin (I've never had a bearded dragon before), but I am having a hard time finding housing specs specific to Rankins. Would a 20g long be large enough for one adult? Are they pretty cool little critters? Do you recommend any particular sex? I would appreciate any advise and photos you all have available.

Thanks a lot!
Amanda

we call it small frye because its young and we are unsure of the sex at this point.

its cute, we also have an inland beardy.

I love the LONG legs of the rankin, when small frye is up and running it seems so high off the ground compared to my beardy delilah.

we are taking our time with handling, as it is alittle skittish at times, but we have many lizards and it just takes time to develop the trust "that we dont see them as food" then they relax with human interaction.

good luck finding one, I got ours at the white plains herp show. as I have now obtained three of my nine that way and they are all doing very well!
Have a great day!
Sue
