Introducing female to a male...PLEASE HELP!!!

jkins Jan 15, 2004 04:57 PM

I just purchased a female frilled just recently and went to introduce her to my male. Before I even put her in the cage he frilled up huge and was hissing and striking at the glass. I have never seem him do that so I am wondering if anyone knows a proper way of introducing them or if I should not do it all.
Thanks, Josh

Normaly when introducing you would want to bring the male to her and have it be on her terf. Maybe you should acclimate her to her own cage first and bring him to her when your sure shes adjusted.

Keep in mind also, if you just got her, it is best to keep her in quarantine for a period of time before introducing her to your boy.
