Hard to say, Im no expert but my gecko gravid right now and she always looks like that when shes got eggs in her, id say yes. What do you mean is it time for a vet visit? How long has she been gravid? she looks healthy, just make sure she gets enough calcium for the eggs. L8er

My leo's belly looks kinda like that too but she still eats so I don't think she's gravid. (they do stop eating before they are going to lay right?) She laid an egg about 2 weeks ago, when would she have another clutch if she does have eggs in her?

oh! i posted abnout a week ago about this gecko....i got her april 19th and she looked gravid then. the previous owner said that it was her first season, she'd layed 1 clutch that was a dud and that i shouldn't get my hopes up about a fertile clutch since it was her first season. she is about 4 years old, now weighs 52grams (was close to 60 when i got her) and was mated before i got her (obviously).

so its been 6 weeks roughly since i got her, thus at least 6 weeks since she layed eggs.

Can you feel egg contours? If she is at six weeks past last deposition, if she is carrying eggs, you should be able to feel them quite prominant in her abdomen.

I think she has what is known as pink dots, which look like eggs but they are not. But, that is my opinion.

Has anyone ever looked at their female juvies, that you know for certain are not gravid? they have the exact same thing that you are looking at now. I was always told that when you can see the white then they are gravid, but since my suposed egg bound female, she has no eggs and have those, so i just picked up my babies that are 6mths old and they have the same thing. the vet said it was fat pads, b/c he couldnt feel eggs. is that true with every leo?
