red tail boa

Hi, a am new to the forum and i have a few questions about boas. I heard the red tail boa bites alot, is this true? have any of you been bitten by your boa. are they generaly tame? I have never owned a boa befor. But I own a ball python.how mutch harder are they to care for than a ball python,(besides space needed, and bigger pray) do they need uva and uvb lights?

Sory so many ?s but want to learn as mutch about this species befor I get one.

I think all of your questions, as well as more that will most likely pop up, can be answered by reading the "Boa Constrictor Manual". This is a great book to read BEFORE you get a boa of any kind. I only paid $5 for it.
