She might be making the rules, I dont know how long she is now but shes got her front legs at the far end of the bed on one of the pillows, her tail is at the very bottom of the mattress, its 75" long.

That is the biggest varanus I am wanting from here! He is looking a little of fat, but I am sure that vigorous exercise would turn him into a true bear!
Good job on making the biggest. Nobody mess with you and Sobek I am willing to bet!!

She ate half of a large rat because she is digesting slower in the winter, so Im adjusting her diet to keep her thin. In a few days she will be thinner yet. Shes a big baby though.

I'm impressed greatly. Varanus have the capability to get very large, especially those of the African kinds. I have still not purchased myo own Varanus, but your pictures of "Sobek" have renewed my passion for a very large varanus.
