I can totally see how it would be. Last week I fed my 5 foot female Cuban Boa a LARGE rat. It looked a little too big for her but she downed it easily so I figured she was alright and it would just a be a nice big meal for her. It caused a huge lump but she digested it normally and "excreted" it last night. I also moved her into a 4 foot Neodesha last night and she seemed to love it. But this morning I noticed a small amount of blood on the newspaper. I took her out and looked her over and didn't see any abrasions or anything but there were also urates in the cage. Now I'm wondering if it's possible if maybe when she went, there was also some blood in there and she dragged her tail around the cage leaving the blood trail? I just lost an adult male surinam redtail 5 days ago so now I'm paranoid. Just looking for opinions. Thanks alot.
