I try to handle them as little as possible when they are babies, though some is needed to check for/remove unshed skin, etc...They seem to find it comforting when I make a little warm dark cave with my hands and keep them in there as I move them to a safe place to look at them. If you let baby geckos sit on your hand while you are standing up they have a tendency to do a kamikazee dive into space and may injure themselves, so be careful about that.

thank you for the help, i'll keep that in mind. Now are they not able to shed the skin their selves provided the right humidity??

With a humid hide they usually can shed all their skin themselves but even with the humid hide sometimes they do not get all the skin off their toes and tip of tail and occassionally other places, so it is a good idea to check them especially as babies- once a week should be fine. They grow so fast, given the right conditions, that they can quickly lose toes from lost circulation if you don't catch the unshed skin and remove it fairly quickly.
