First off, I'm very sorry I hadn't replied to your post re: when you were our Guest during Chat Week - I was very busy w/Holidays etc afterwards. Ryan has been in our chatroom, #kingsnake, since..and I had asked he convey to you that your chat broke all records or time in room as a Guest (so much for someone telling me (I won't mention your name that no-one would showup to hear about rubber boas.) If you're up to it we'd would enjoy having you back later this year as a Guest.

Sally: the "old way" of Forums is what folks have been use to but the "New Forums" are going to be so much better - minus the flame wars and/or abuse to others. In time you'll get to like it better.

I have to admit I was surprised by the number of questions however, I had no way of knowing how many individuals were involve--could have been just a hand full for all I know as I do not recall seeing names attached to any questions. Secondly, since you were screening all incoming questions and remarks, I wondered at the time if there were any 'flame' like remarks that were made in response to any of the questions I answered or comments I may have made. As I recall, there was a couple of questions about my assessment of the 'Threatened' status of the SRB in S. Calif. I would have been curious as to who may have asked those questions and if there were any negative comments after I gave my assessment.

Let me know what you have in mind about a future Chat.

I don't know for sure how many folks posted pm's to me: questions for you, but I know that my pm "panels" ie folks posting questions to me went off the screen and I did my best to post in order that they came in. I had no "flame" or disparaging remarks come in to me. We went to the "screening system" the very first night due to kids, internet surfers, non-herpers coming in the Chat room and posting junk. After that we did catch someone auto-porn-spamming folks joining the room and elimated them forthwith.
I realize now that I should have posted/pasted the folks nicks asking the q's - I will do so in the future. Anyway, when your hour n half was up and since the Chat was hosted by me, but held in another room not mine...I asked "The Bosses" - "Can we keep going? - the chat is great!" They advised "If Rich wants to, keep going?!" And the rest is history ..lol..like the Energizer Bunny..on and on it went. Even after you left and the Chat was over folks were coming in my room, #Kingsnake, looking to ask you questions..and then there were others who unfort had missed the Chat asking bout you. My only regret that night is that John Applegarth wasn't able to make it in as I'm sure he would have enjoyed. Anyway, your's was a grand Chat..and when ya have time..please join us in my room #kingsnake - we have some good folks there.
