My leo is a few months old and eats crickets..
yesterday I gave her a wax worm and she didnt know what to do with! she'd see if move a bit, then lick it, and run away.. then bump it wiht her nose then run away.. but when it didnt move she lost interest and walked away... so i flicked it so it would move and finally after 10 minutes she figured out that she was supposed to eat it! So I think she enjoys chasing them a lot more than having them just sit there..
