leopard feeding, how much?

fishyone Jan 16, 2004 06:44 PM

I have 2 leopard tortoise hatchlings. One is 8 mo., the other 6 mo. I am amazed at how much they can eat for being so small. Is it possible to overfeed them?

i have two adult leopards and they will eat everything i put infront of them. i rescued them from an older lady who had them since they were babies and one has a pyramid shell. from what i have been able to understand is that if you feed a growing turtle/tortoise a diet that is too rich in protien you can run the risk of a pyramid shell. but other than that they are fine.
