Our yellow belly sliders are doing the mating ritual, swimming infront of eachother and flicking their nails. But they are both doing it, so are they both males? We got the two turtles when they were very small (half dollar size) and are now about 3-4 inches long. If anybody knows if both genders do the mating call or if they are both male, please let us know.

Males and females do the mating dance. It is not a reliable way to sex your turtles. If you can post some pictures of your turtles there are some very smart people on this forum who might be able to tell you what sex they are (not me).
