Such a tragedy, ignorant driving causes death to reptiles....

-ryan- Jun 05, 2003 09:37 PM

A reptile place in Rochester New York (same place I got Sidney), suffered a great tragedy sometime either today or yesterday (not sure which). It's located at a three way intersection, and somehow someone accidently (I would hope) drove right through and into the reptile place. From what I've heard, it killed quite a few animals, a lot of them are injured, and a lot escaped. I am trying to find info about it on the news, but there isn't really any.

that is tragic. Driver was probably drunk or stoned...keep us posted if you hear more information. News may not post much about it as a few dead reptiles may not warrent alot of news time (it should but for some reason dead reptiles doesn't have the news worthiness of say, dead cats or dogs). Could check with the local humane society, as they may be giving assistance in finding the lost animals. Or contact the petstore directly.

Yeah, it could be those things too. the farmer jack down the street from me had an old woman drive right through the window because she had a heart attack in her car. it knocked one of those coinstar machines right onto a 15 year old employee...this was about a year and a half ago and from what i heard, she's still in the hospital

i know this doesnt have anything to do with reptiles, but it just reminded me of this.
