There was a local pet store that had a "sexing clinic" ... in other words, you gave a vet $2 for him to tell you what sex your reptile was. I took my two whites whos' sex I was unsure of. I expected him to open the mouth, and look at the glottis, but instead, he looked for nupital pads. I have a Whites, that I have had for 5 years, that has never croaked, unless I pissed her off.. and that was twice in her life. He said that he didn't know what sex it was. She has "pads" that are just a little smaller the other whites I took, that has croaked for about 30 seconds, once, when I was misting him (I am assuming he is a he. The pads are NOT brown, but the same pigment as the rest of their "hands". I was under the impression that they had to be brown. Is this true? Or am I mistaken.
Also, I have a definate male that for the past month or two, has been what I would say freaking out at night. The tank is in my bed room, so I can hear him. He calles a few times a night (for periods that seem to last forever, rustles leaves, and even jumps and hits the screen, making it rattle! Is this breeding behavior, or is he just a nut?
