One country, two VERY different boas --- Paraguana boa

PAF Jan 17, 2004 07:46 AM

Venezuela is one of the very few countries that has such extrems when it comes to boas.

This is the Paraguana boa, occuring only on a little peninsula in western Venezuela. In fact, the peninsula is conected only through a very thin piece of land to the mainland (and that is pure desert), which makes this boas virtually an island form.

Adult size: 4feet max. 5 feet.

Little to add to this boa, occuring only south of the Orinoco river, the Orinoco basin.

PAF; that bos is beautiful. How long have you had her/him?
Are you going to breed them both this year?
