You're just asking for a biased opinion asking in the Tegu forum ;p
I've heard good stuff about Argus monitors, but I'd also say get the tegu.

i keep both monitors and tegus and to be truthfull my tegus are more intelegent ,dont get me wrong monitors are smart to but i think tegus have more of a pearsonality
