Hello.
I'm new to Geckos. I was thinking about getting a Tokay or two. They are beautiful lizards and I know though, they are aggressive. I would like to get them too because they bark. Is there other Geckos that make noise, if so are they less aggressive than the Tokay because it would be nice to hold them.

crested geckos my friend they are very tame and i think in groups they make noise so try those on for size

Stenodactylus petrii definately. Mine even reply to the microwave, tv, radio etc. They sound like birds, and dont stop calling!

If you get tokays young you can tame them and when they grow up you will have that bark that you want. Not much beats the call of the tokay. Teratoscincus species also make a chirping noise i believe.

Liek 90% of gecko species do produce noises. Ranging form chirping over whisteling to loud barking.
...and tokays are among the least agressive geckos at all -if kept under appropriate conditions.
