and it took off part of Bam Bam's toe. I called the vet and they didn't seem overly concerned, but I am going in tomorrow morning. It didn't seem to be actively bleeding but it was red on the end. I put a little bit of neosporin on it and he was walking around okay. I just looked at it now (it happened 3 hours ago) and it didn't appear too swollen. I feel just awful. Do you guys think he will be okay? I honestly feel like the worst owner ever right now.

Just keep an eye on it, you say you are taking him to the vet he will make sure everything is fine, he may loose the toe, if it was really hit hard with the rock. Look at it this way Becca, thank God it was just his toe, and not his head or back. He'll probably be fine, I hope so ! I try and move rocks around, when they are not in there, because of that, but hey we have all had those near miss kind of things happen, just have to be careful all the time, they are very little yet, hope all goes well for Bam bam , Eve

I know how you feel. One day I pulled Suig out & I was walking around with him in the kitchen & he jumped out of my hands. He landed really badly. His head went into the crack in between the pantry doors. It scared the hell out of me. Which is why I don't take him out very much anymore & if I do I'm always sitting down.
