Tail shedding

shasha369 Jan 17, 2004 12:21 PM

I have 2 juvi. Beardies and have problems with their tails shedding. One of them has a kink high up in her tail and her tail does not want to shed from the kink on down.(named Bent) The other one just has a notch on the end of his tail so the tip does not want to shed.(named Foster) I have tried soaking their tails in warm water a couple of times a day is there any other thing I can do to help the shed of old skin? (I'm named Marcia)

Thanx
I will try mineral oil combined with water treament. I think the dry air we have here in Tucson might be part of the problem. Also Bent is a skinny Beardie she might have some other health problems.
