I have had happen on more occasions. Take a pillowcase. Make it wet with warm water. Put the snake in and place back in cage on the warm side. Leave her in for 6 hours and take her out. She will have shed in the pillowcase. She can breath in there so you do not have to worry about that. 100% succes garanteed.

Sounds like a good plan, and we know that MP knows his stuff!
Good luck. Duffy

Perhaps by the time you read this, the snake will have already figured things out on its own. If not, you might start by putting a moist napkin or paper towel on a piece of plastic (like a plastic lid) and placing a small plastic hide on top of that in such a way that the snake can get in easily. This will be a "humid hide" that the snake can go in by itself. Try placing it near the warm end of the tank for extra humidity. See if the snake takes to that today. If that does not work, soaking if fine, too. Don't panic...in all liklihood all will be well soon. Duffy

What I do here is get a glad ware plastic tub put holes in the lid for air, and put paper towels wet with warm water in the plastic tub, and make sure some are bunched up so the snake will weave and rub against the warm moistened paper towels, and put the whole tub on the warm side of the enclosure or half on a heating pad set on low to create extra humidity inside. I've done this a few times and it has not failed me once. I use a clear little tub cause I like to watch the snake through it as it sheds and I can remove him/her once done. Never took longer then 1 hour doing it like this most of the time much less in a warm, moist, humid clear tub.

i got her into a sterilite with some water on the bottom and this kind of cave thing that was a dry spot for her. i put it next to my heating vent, and that is where the cage and I stayed for about an hour. i was monitoring her constantly. she got the rest off while i was cleaning her cage, just opened up the lid and there was the shed. i checked her for any unshed pieces i.e eyecaps, and tip of tail, but eyecaps were shed and so was the tip of the tail.

O and now my normal is in blue so i put a mosit hide in his cage for him so hopefully he will shed in piece.

When can i feed them after the shed, like how long should I wait.

You can usually feed right away (actually, many of my snakes will eat while they are "blue", but since it's been a rough day for both of you, I'd at least wait until tomorrow. Duffy
