I bought Nolvasan S @ the local farm store. Can I still use it for my cages? It says it is Chlorhexidine diacetate. It is scented. It smells like the vets office.

i don't believe they make an unscented kind. when you dilute it the scent isn't as strong.

you can use it to clean enclosures, furnishing and even right on the dragons to clean them

On the bottle it says for virus killing 6tbl per gallon and for general disinfecting it says 2tbl per gallon. It doesn't say anything about on the animal. What ratio would I use for on the animal? It says to leave on for 10 minutes is this really long enough? I really like the smell of this much better then bleach! My husband has a bad reaction to the smell of bleach. Thanks for everyones information and help

we use the 1:20 for cleaning and the 1:30 for soaking dragons or on wounds.
