>>Well, at the time of laying, I candled all the eggs and only saw veins in one egg. Three other eggs looked perfect so I incubated them as well.
I was wondering (pardon me I'm brand spanking new to spilotes) but with kingsnake eggs, you always assume (unless incubation space is limited) that the eggs are good until they go bad, and you don't expect to see veins for several days after laying. Is this different with Spilotes?
Also, how many eggs do they normally have?
And, what is a good size/weight to begin to consider breeding them...?
Plus... do they need to be brumated? Do they have different requirements than kingsnakes...?
Oh jeepers... just have all the questions in the world.
