my newly remodeled cage ( with tile )

lanietx Jan 17, 2004 06:13 PM

here are a couple of pics of my new and improved gecko tank.
the first tiles i tried were alot more realistic and better looking. they were lighter in color and had tones of brown, grey, and white. there was a problem with those tiles, my geckos didn't show up as well on them. i decided to go with these darker grey tiles. i also think the darker grey blends better with my caves.

libby and jaws love the imitation log!
it is getting really hard for them both to fit in it at the same time.
i hope to find another for them soon

Looks nice, I am getting a 30 gallon, thinking about using slate only with a little paper towel for droppings/humidifier...

Will they cut the tank at the store? I don't want to take any chance of impaction, I guess I could leave it empty in the extra spaces and put in towels

four tiles fit perfectly in my tank
i have a four foot, 55 gallon.

i went to both lowes and home depot. they were so busy and of course no sales people around, so i couldn't ask about cutting. if your store can't/won't cut, u might try a smaller flooring shop that installs.

i tiled my entire tank. every day i just go clean/sanitize the poop corner. so far, it hasn't been a problem.

What kind of plants are those??

Thanks

i think the taller plant is a peace lily.
and there is also common ivy in there.
