I am working on putting together a petiton together so we can have native non venomous snakes in Georgia like eastern kings and corn snakes. If you are interested in this contact me at
electricbluescat@earthlink.net I found out you have them but you must have a permit and only use them for education and you have to document your hours for the education thing. and it cost $59 for the permit and you can't breed them. I know if theres any Ga people out there who are into snakes wouldn't like to see this change? each the dnr meets to review the laws to change I dont know when they will meet in 2004 but I figure if I start on this early this year then we may gain some ground.
I will post the dates when I find out they meet when and where too.
