My boa is a little over a year old. She now will only eat say every 14 days and today she did not eat, and it is the 14th day. She just finished shedding and i know they dont like to eat when they are shedding. She sheds perfect temps are perfect, am I just being to crazy in wanting her to eat every week. She is on frozen, I am thinking of going to pre killed until she eats every week again. Good idea or bad?

I just fed my boas today... and they haven't eaten since Nov. 30th... I'm sure they would have eaten Dec. 1st... but whatever... the reason I'm telling you this is b/c it's honestly not at all necessary to feed every week or two. Wait a month, try again. Your boa will eat when it's ready. If you notice that it's losing weight, get a stool sample to the vet to check for internal parasites and a check up by a qualified reptile vet wouldn't hurt either (again, IF your concerned about the animals health). Otherwise, just chill and enjoy your boa.
