Your gecko should probably be eating 5 a day instead of every three days. And i think unwanted crickets are supposed to be taken out if they dont eat them. They cause the gecko stress. But i doubt your gecko is stressed by the crickets, cause if it saw the crickets, it would eat them. Now if your gecko ate 10 crickets one night, and then three were left running free, they would definately need to be taken out because they are unwanted.

shes 5 month old, and how long is it supposed to take for her to eat 5 crickets?

When i fed crickets, which was a while ago, my gecko would eat about 7 or 8 a night. She wouldnt come out of her hide to get them, so i dropped them by her hide and they would go in. She would see them in her hide and eat them. It took her about 15 minutes to eat 7 or 8. After that she wouldnt touch anymore. So i took the rest out. Your gecko probably just isnt seeing all of the crickets. How big is your enclosure? And how active is your gecko. Make sure he sees the crickets.

my leo, which is probably around 6 months old... maybe older (anyway we can tell this if we don't know the birthdate? I got him at a Petco, so they didn't know...) eats at least 10 crickets a day.... he'd probably eat more too...

it usually takes about six days depending on the gecko

Check your temps to make sure they are correct. I suggest u use Uth as they are best to provide heat. I usually leave the crickets in when feeding time comes, but i check after 30 minutes and take out any left. I would not suggest leaving them as they can cause stress, and if [leo] small enough, the cricket can nibble on the tail etc. Also observe the fecal matter if any..hope this helps
