I had someone tell me that a blood ate two snakes it a tank, well I told him he was full of it, here is what he said

at the lfs near me I went in there one day while I was trying to tame down a snake.. and I passed the blood python tank and he was dead expanded up to 3x his size and u could see the other 2 snakes in his belly.. so we cut him open and sure enough he had aten 2 other snakes over the night

I've never heard of, well, anything in the Python genus doing that, but I won't say it's impossible... Maybe he had fed the other two snakes and they smelled like rodents? Maybe the one snake was just THAT hungry? Cannabalism is always a risk when keeping snakes together. Usually a small risk, but a risk.

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."
