fat tails

mblons Jan 18, 2004 02:05 AM

I have seen some BEAUTIFUL albino fat tail geckos of various colors. Question: Do they ALL fade when they reach adult age. Are they only the beautiful colors when they are young? I saw an example of a great looking albino of high quality with wonderful orange and as it got older it was left with NO color whatsoever. Is this typical? Its great that they look as they do for several months but just wondering if these are just youthful colors. I know some snakes are a certain color when they are born and then completely change. Is that how fat tails are?- Mark

Baby fat tails will always be more colourful the the adults.
But they are still very beautiful geckos when they are adults
