I looked high and low in Walmart for a gram scale, with no luck. The WalMart people didn't know what a gram scale was, too. (Then again, the only associate in the area was stacking Rubbermaids...) So, anyone know where the cheapest scale that I can get is that does up to 500 grams or over, online? (Preferably 600, since 500g isn't unheard of)

The scales at Walmart are to weigh food. Try the kitchen section where they sell utensils etc.
