Can anybody please tell what are the minimum breeding size and weights on female yellows? Thanks for your help.

My '01 offspring came from two different females- one was getting up there at about 60", and the other was considerably smaller at about 42". The larger female had much bigger and more numerous offspring. I would wait for a female to achieve a size of at least 4' before breeding. It can definitely be achieved with a smaller female, but like other snakes, bigger is better. Just my opinion. I don't have any weight info.

Hope this helps, and you can see the babies that I kept from '01 down below, though they are all crosses. They are all at or above three feet, but would be ALOT bigger if I fed them more than minimum. Also just a tip, you don't have to cool them down as much as or as long as alot of other NA snakes. But it's still a wise idea both for productivity and COSTS. These snakes will eat a $hit load if you give it to them, so don't let them boss you around.LOL

Good luck with your yellows, they are really fun to raise. IMO crossing them with rossalleni can be as much fun as breeding pure everglades. LOTS of cool and different shades, but I'm sure someone will contest that though. Let me know if you want any more photos, as you might be able to tell, I really love these guys.-Brett
