I recently got into getting herps and I was thinking about getting some snakes and was in the chat and someone reccomended kings and corns...

If anyone can tell me about them and their requirements I would be most greatful. My biggest concern really is tank size

You can comfortably house both rats and kings in a 20 gallon long aquarium. Care is the same for kings and rats. The biggest problem will be deciding which one you want. As far as care, take a look at the care sheets here on kingsnake.com. If you are unsure of something, ask. There are alot of knowledgeable people on here that will help you.

Be forewarned....snakes are VERY addictive, and once you get one, the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. will not be far behind!! LOL

Welcome to the world of snakes!

Ball pythons, corns, milks, kings, garter, hognose, etc.Just make sure whatever you decide to buy is captive born and feeding on rodents.Eyeball the snake to make sure it isnt to skinny, mite infested, unusual bumps,or anything that doesnt look normal.Ask the breeder alot of questions and secure a caresheet from them...Paul.
