Does anyone keep Lehmanni?

adamsanity Jan 18, 2004 06:28 PM

If anyone has any or knows where I could get some I would like to know. I can't find any for sale and I wonder what they cost.

Hi,

There are very few people in the US that breed this frog (but a few keep them.) It is unlikley that anyone would sell you one unless you have a very good reputation and are known for working with the other eggfeeders. Thomas Villages produces some for public sale occasonally and I believe he asks around $350 for them. He had one at NW frogfest. I know of few others in the US that actually produce any of these frogs. If you want to breed them you should get them from Germany.

More people need to work with these types of frogs so we can get more in the US hobby.
