Foggy Froggys

BryanR. Jan 18, 2004 06:47 PM

Okay well, there not froggys, there toads, but thats beside the point. I didnt want to post on the toad forum just cause it doesnt get much traffic.
Plus this has more to do with the foggyness then the species.

These pictures were taken after a few minutes with it running.

That's a lot of fog! Is the device adjustable? Looks like a fun environment for your FBTs though.

I saw th eother pic of your tank and i love it. id has inspired me to get a few water amphibs(not my usual side of the spectrum). what fogger do you use?I have an ultrasonic but it blew out one day for no apprent reason, boo!

Lol thanks for the compliments, but all thet tank is is a bunch of pothos lol. Its actually a Ultrasonic Humidifier, and a PVC pipe feeds through the top of the tank (its a peg board top). The Pvc pipe bends up and then bends down into where the fog fromt he humidifier comes out. It only takes like 2 minutes to reach that level of foggyness, maybe 5-10 though... With my water dragon enclosure it would take at least an hour to get to that level, but I don't think it ever would reach that level.

I'm trying to grow moss in there too, but thats a work in progress.
