I'm a snake man, but that sure is one nice lizard. I am in southern AL also, (Mobile county) and all i see around here are little anoles.

I'm from santa barbara and those little monsters can bite. =
They used to be in my backyard a lot along with the blue bellied swifts.
I'm from Santa Barbara as well and I have never seen an alligator lizard with such striking coloration. Great find. In what part of SB county did you find him?

I found her in Orcutt, outside of Santa Maria in my backyard. She is far from typical, however. I've posted pics of some of the other Southern Als I've caught in the Alligator Lizard Forum.
