This will probably be my last post until I actually get my Leos...
"Basking area... need or not?"
Not .. you just need an UTH at the right temperature.
"Lighting? I kinda need it for a few extra degrees heat, but since they are nocturnal, how do those rack keepers do it? Or they have lights built into their racks? Or can you just remove the day cycle from them by keeping them in the dark?"
You shouldn't need it for extra heat. If you are using a heatpad or heattape, then it already gets way too hot. You'll need a temp controller of some sort. For lighting, you can use daylight, room light, or a weak incadescent light or flourescent light on a timer.
"Vitamins/Calcium/D3... I hear D3 in large quantities is fatal... And I read that I should have a calcium supplement with D3 to coat feeders and one without D3 to coat feeders, and use the one with D3 like once a week.... Should I have a calcium dish with vitamins? Should I have a vitamin/calcium dish at all? What brands are reccomended?"
Don't know too much about the D3 issue, I'll let someone else deal with that. I do not put vitamins in my calcium dish. Just calcium.
"Why is god stopping me from getting my leos?"
Because you're not ready yet! Buy "The Leopard Gecko Manual" and read it 2 or 3 times from cover to cover. Then read as many caresheets as you can tolerate. You should be able to answer all of your own theoretical questions. Once you get your leos, come back to the forums to ask, and hopefully have answered, all of your practical questions, derived out of keeping leos.
