Overdriving

geckguy Jan 19, 2004 11:32 AM

In the diagrams on the garden forum it shows 2 lamps before overdriving than 1 after overdriving(it says lamps, I think they mean bulbs) so when you overdrive it you go from 2 bulbs in a shoplight to 1 bulb in there? Can someone please explain this? Has anyone on here tried this? I wanted to use overdriven shoplights on the rack I am building but I can't figure out how to do the wiring.

to over drive you buy two 7$ home depot fixtures take them apart and put the balast in the other and each balast powers one bulb and the bulbs are your choice on how bright and white you want it ive had mine going for over a week and they are very bright
