Okay. So you want to know about breeding bearded dragons. Well, first you should have babies or uveniles to start out with. I didn't but I wish I did. That way, you can monitor their food intake and their calcium. Once they get about 12-16 months old, brumate them. This will last about 6 weeks. Wake up the male first. Get him all fat and about a week later, wake up your female(s). After the female have been awake for about 1 week, introduce the ale into the cage for about 1 week. He should breed right away. In about 3-5 weeks after they breed, your female will be ready to lay eggs. She will need a box of vermiculite compacted down. It takes my female about 3 hours to dig the nest, lay the eggs then unbury herslef and bury the eggs. Once she is done laying her eggs, remove her from the tub and carefully take the eggs from the nest. You should have your incubator up before she lays. The incubation temperature should be 84.4 degrees. The eggs will take about 55- 75 days to hatch. Tha care of hatchlings beardies takes a lot more care to the food item sizes. Hope I helped.

A question for you. Why do you want to breed beardies?

Thanks for the info. I have always liked beardies and have read that can reporduce easily. Also I woould nnot feel guilty selling them because they make great pets. when I was a kid a pet store sold my famliy a water monitor as a pet that did'nt work out.
