UV during brumation?

So one of my beardies has been brumating for quite some time (months, hopefully it ends soon!). Anyways, it always seems like such a waste to have a MVB on all the time. Can I safely assume since she almost never comes out of her hiding spot unless we take her out, that she really doesn't need the UV part. I was thinking about just putting a normal spot bak in to extend the life of the MVB and then switching it back when she wakes up. That wouldn't be a problem would it?

You assumed correctly. There is no need to waste the hours while the dragon is in a hide.
