for about an hour to soke and when i got her out she was realy fat.

They puff up like an innertube to float, they are afraid of drowning (arent you), so water deeper than shoulder depth with no way to escape stresses and scares them. Dont make the water as deep as you had it. Make the water as deep as the animals shoulder maybe a hair deeper at most after all they arent used to swimming in farmers fields and in semi arid grasslands.
