I have a high yellow adult female leo,and am going to get a young male blizzard leo.I have the female in a 15 gallon.I am not keeping them together till the male is full grown. Here are my questions:

1)Is a 15 gallon big enough for two?
2)Should I use sand or turf?
3)Do I need more than one hide area?
4)I use all rocks performing caves,is that what there habitat should look like?

i dont advise you keeping your male with only one female together unless you want to breed, and then replace the male. this will cause the leos to be stressed. its really all the males fault, fer being to horny n everything, lolz. hope this helps.

1. Not really, that will be very cramped for 2, especially a male and female
2. If you have to choose, turv, sand can get swallowed and cause impaction, paper towels is the staple for most

Sorry hit submit too soon!
3. Definitly, you need at least one on warm side, one of cool side, and one around the middle for humidity (place a damb paper towel or something in the middle one. This helps shedding and egg laying
4. They aren't picky with shelters
