Dead gecko

The albino that i just purchased pics of last night died. Everything was fine last night. She ate and everything. Was active. Woke up this morning and she had shed her tail. She was still alive and otherwise fine. I just got home from work and found her motionless. It appears as if she was bleeding internally. She has a big red blotch on her belly. I've only had her 3 days. Nothing has happened to her. She was shipped ups. Only thing i can think of is she was getting knocked around while shipping and started bleeding internally. Is that possible? Why else would she have died?

Yeah, i e-mailed pete from petes geckos. He's not the greatest at returning e-mails, but i'm sure i'll hear from him. I'm not sure whether to expect anything from him though, because its really looking like something happened during shipping. And that doesnt fall under his policy. Its heartbreaking because she was such a great leo. I could tell she had a really great personality, if she would've just been given time to adjust.

Ok, Pete is replacing the gecko with another albino that was almost exactly the same as the one i bought. Almost the same appearance anyway. Pete was really nice about it all. He is a really great guy to deal with. So far his geckos have been great, so if anyone was thinking of buying from him, this shouldnt discourage you.

Glad to hear the breeder is making it right. I think most quality breeders care a lot about delivering a healthy leo and making their customers happy. I can't say I know much of anything about this breeder except I have heard the name before, I am not surprised he is sending you a new one. It speaks to his integrity.
