New leo morph

How do some breeders do this? Do these people have biology degrees? How do some breeders come up with different morphs now and then albino, tang, super tang, jungle etc. Like ron tremper and the albino first he has albinos for big bucks soon many are breeding and price goes down then he just comes up with something different like jungle albino, Now I really would like to know how did he get a giant albino?

No it doesn't require degrees, a simple biology class would probably teach what you need to know.

Basically they selective breed animals with dormant traits or shown traits (hetero and homozygous (sp)) to try and get something paticular.

Of course it can be completely random is well.

Yes, a simple genetics class is all you would need to learn. It has to do with dominant and recessive genes. The way these morphs came into existence is just random gene mutation in the leopard gecko genome.

One day as a result of his previous breedings he might of hatched an albino the all he needed to do was breed it back to its parents to produce either hets or pure albinos
