said.......and i followed his directions to the "T". kept him on millet and so on. i recently switched to repti sand, he loves it!!!!!!!!!!! he has never eatin so much. he runs around even more and he loves to dig in it. well, he hasn't grown.......................all hes done is got a little fatter. ummm, would switchin to the 50% soil, 25% sand, 25%vermiculite. be better. i would only be able to have it about 3-4 inches for a while, would he have the sucess rates like everyone else is seein?

this is a picture of vladirmire, under one of his baskin spots in his cage. he is posin for the camera........all on his own. does he look healthy enough?

thanx.

How hot are your basking spots, and what are you feeding...how often...and what do you supplement with?

one of my baskin sites is 130, one is 124, and the other is between 116-119. he gets fed a mix of greens ( endive, collard greens, mustard greens, bok choy, and several other things.............i'm drawin a blank because i'm studyin too hard for finals this week. any ways, he gets that to start out every morning, then afer i get home i change out his lettuce and put in defrosted peas, fresh brocolli broken up, and he also snacks on his christmas cactus in his cage, and he has a bowl that has millet, lentils, and split peas (all dry). all of the above are supplemented w/ rep-cal calcium w/ d3, and once weekly, he gets rep-cal multivitamin. he has a reptisun 5.0 uvb 6 inches above his baskin spot. umm, i think thats all u asked, i don't know.....if u need some more info, let me know.

I've been told that Christmas cactus is poisonous to uros. I would remove it from his tank right away.

Good luck
