How do you make pictures smaller then they already are?

I tried posting a pic of my geckos, but the size is 400KB and can't post them in the picture gallery.

see if you can find a copy of photoshop or something similar to resize your images so they're more web friendly.

You can format your posts and signature using BBCode. Here are some common examples:
