Giant Georgia Eastern King, size example pics . He is a freakin' MONSTER !

Keith Hillson Jan 20, 2004 01:41 AM

My male GA (Will Still breeder, Enge Stock) shed today so I thought I would take some pics to give you guys an idea how big this dude is. Like I said before he is around 30" or more and is 5 months old. Pictured with him in one pic is a female Dodge Co., GA about the same age maybe a little older . She is what I would consider average sized for a 5 month old Eastern at 17-18" or so. I posted these pics because someone asked about size differences between the localities but obviously its also genetic as both of these animals are Georgia stock. Does anybody have a 2003 King as big as this male ? There must be one or two out there from this year be it Floridana or even a Cal King ???

with some other 03s. He was an early 03, and my others I bought late in the year, so there is quite a size difference.

He wont eat pinks or fuzzies at all ? When was he hatched exactly ?

He'll eat adult mice, though I occasionally feed him larger rat pups. I fed him anoles because I can catch over 100 in my yard within 20 minutes at night. He may actually be a late 2002 hatch, but I don't have any specific info on him. He was the size of a newly hatched brooksi when I bought him.

Keith,

Nice shots of a nice-looking snake!

This is Bonkers at just under two years (late July '02) and from the tape you can see that she is about 46" long; this is the Will Still/Kevin Enge line of Easterns we've been talking about. Bonkers had about that amount of red-orange banding as well at the age of your little monster. If Bonkers - a female - is this size at two then your male should be a beefcake by then!

...that when I got this snake the guy said "only feed it one pinkie per feeding, she's a big hatchling." Or something just along those lines. Problem is that this snake has always grown like a weed so she was on hoppers in no time.
