mixcoatl Jan 20, 2004 03:48 AM

Hello guys,
I'm looking for info and experiences on B.nasicornis breeding
(temps and length of cooling, when to introduce specimens, etc.),
hope there are breeders among you who are willing to share their methods
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Geoff

There is NO cooling period...... Where they are from there is no winter or summer..... Its wet season and dry season..... Mating starts in the winter months here and babies are born in late summer early fall.... When you want to induce them to breed all you really need to do is mist them down heavily for a week or so during their breeding season and copulation should start.... Its is fairly easy to breed members of the bitis family...... They are very shy about it either.....
