First off I want to say thank to those who have given me tips on getting my newly rescued iguana to eat. Now for the question. My first Iguana, Smason, isn't big enough for me to see the femoral pores clearly. But my new rescued Iguana, Thurgood, is big enough and I can see clearly the femoral pores. Now my question is...is it large pores for males and small pores for females...or the vice versa?

Large pores=male small pores = female do you have a copy of iguanas for dummies by melissa kaplan...excellent information for newbies and experienced ig owners...Ive owned igs for 10 yrs and learned lots from this great book....good luck...so is it a boy or girl? Lyn
