No amphibians, they can make your turtle sick. Most fish you have to assume would get eaten, so add them only if you don't care to much about them. The only other reptiles that you could add would be other turtles, I would stick to sliders or mud turtles, but remember you would need a much larger tank.

Greetings,

I would stick to fish - the cheaper the better. Your turtle is still small so he my not yet be able to catch fish easily. My RES is still a hatching about 1". I have 4, opps 3 - Poor Rosie - red rosies in my tank.

They are cheap, about .25 each. They are red, grey and orange in color, so they look alright. Maybe a bigger gold fish would survive as well.

Eventually your turtle may start to enjoy them as a snack, but until then they will make a nice addition.

yea i have guppies in with him. he's not good at catching them yet..lol he swims at em & they move & he keeps sliding right past them..lol he's getting better though..yea i might throw a couple fish in there any turtles you recommend other than yellow bellies? they'll be in there for a lil while but i know that I'm going to be upgrading to a huge tank farily soon. there's one i had my eye one outside the albino res, i think it's a diamond back terrapin...are they under the same basic husbandry or are they not good together...any other kinds you think work well let me know
