Snakeito,
. Most of mine look their worse colorwise when they are 1 to 15 months old. At 12 to 24 months of age they show great improvement each time they shed. There are exceptions though. Some seem to be especially pretty when they are small.

I am just starting to study up on BRB and I have read your web site and a few others. I am very partial to the bright orange coloration. I noticed some beautiful babies for sale in the classified section here on kingsnake.com that were bright orange and I was wondering if they would become darker or lighter as they get older? Thanks!

Bel,
. I see quite a few of them advertised over time on the kingsnake.com classifieds that I would buy. Most that I have raised got better looking as they aged. Generally the best colored babies will grow to be the best colored adults but there are a few that can surprise you.
